Our group has decided to make one hotmail account to communicate to them. We all have access to this email. We are also planning to have a skype. They agreed to adjust their time to communicate back to us. We haven't yet had a "deep" conversation about what we are planning to do. Our first priority is to set up stable means of communication. We need them to reply more constantly to our emails. I haven't received a personal email from them yet, but someone else in our group has. The challenges that we have faced during our partnership is that they haven't been communicating that well to us. It is vital that they do for this to be a successful project.

Our group has not officially decided what we want to use for communication, but we are thinking about using Facebook, or maybe a blog.
We have learned about carbon, and how it contaminates the air and heats it up. Because of this, they asked us to observe the cars, buses, etc. around us that are constantly being turned on, even when not in use.
We actually haven't faced any challenges with this partnership yet... : )

The format my group has decided to use for communication is a wiki. All of my group have made a wiki account We have not yet gotten that deep in our communication about Climate Change. The only thing that we did was answer some questions the university students asked about what we know regarding Climate Change. We have not learned alot though. The challenges we have faced in our partnership was obviously the communication. It takes a long time for us and them to respond to emails and wiki post. It is because of the big time difference.

Our group had decided to use regular school e-mail for our main communication with our partners in Canada. Also they have created a spreadsheet on Google so that they can ask us questions and for it to be easier for us to respond to them.
We have gotten really deep into climate change, in my opinion. They have divided our group into two, and each group has a country (group A is Canada, group B is Qatar). Each week they are going to assigned us projects. This week it was on animals and oil. I personally have learned a lot because the question they ask us require research and I have to look up interesting thing, and I have learned a lot from that.
I think the “biggest” challenge is getting everyone on the same page, because we don’t get together very often so we don’t know what they are thinking about it. (The time that we had to get together with our groups was really helpful).
My group is going to start using Skype in a little while because the Canadian students said they could adjust their times to suit ours. We are also thinking of making one hotmail account so we can all use but I don't have the full news of that.
I haven't been able to go that deep yet because they only responded to one of my email and not to any others. All I know is that the Canadian students are in touch with some of my group members but I haven't been able to communicate with them much yet.
I think the whole idea of being overseas is a difficulty because it takes awhile for us to recieve each others emails, and the time difference complicates things.

- Our group has decided to use a Blog. We all added ourselves to it last class.
- Our group has not gotten "deep" in our communication about Climate Change although we have passed around ideas and plans for our action plans.
- The challenges we have faced so far were created Gmail accounts. It took so long for all of us to add ourselves and make sure that we could all see the blog.

The format our group has used for communication is a wikispace. We haven't got very deep into our communication because we've all just started our discussion on what we all know about climate change. I think the one challenge we've faced in our partnership is keeping up with each other.
We are using facebook for that.
We are going to use facebook for communication and we are currently e-mailing to each other back and forth the information we know and the carbon emissions around us.
The change of time and how busy we are kind of affects this.

my group are using a blog i will send you the link later we have just started to think on our action plan there was no challenges faced through the partenership
1 For our group we have decided to use email and skype to communicate.
2 No, we haven't really gotten into our communications. We have really only introduced ourselves to each other and shared a little about what we are trying to accomplish in this project.
3 It is hard to communicate with them through skype because when it is eight o'clock in the morning here, its twelve o'clock there, so it is hard to find a time that fits us both good.

Our group has decided to use a blog that our partners set up. We have not yet discussed much about our action planning but we are going to get started soon. So far, the biggest challenge we have faced is a good place for communicating efficiently, but now that issue is solved with our blog.
